Want a new Honeymoon?

Attention Weight Watchers and those of you on your own weight loss journey: Bet you didn't know there are 5 stages of weight loss. (And I'm not talking about screaming, crying, swearing, striking people and righteous indignation!) Some of us go through all of the stages and others of us just hit a few. The first one is the Honeymoon Stage...we are working hard and doing everything right. Everyone's happy. I learned something about myself here: The reason I change plans so often is because when I change plans I go back to the Honeymoon Stage each time. Guess I'm a sucker for a Honeymoon! I change plans about every 2-3 months...or when I get tired of what I'm doing. Right now I'm doing Core. Isn't it neat-o we have the 2 plans to choose from??? Weight Watchers is always looking out for us! Zanyway, Stage 2 is...as BB King says...the The Thrill is Gone...POOH! But it happens. 'Nuff said. Stage 3 is Renewed Resolve...rethink, re-do and move on! This is where you need to pull out the Helpful Habits-learn from experience and prepare yourself to name 2 biggies. Look back and see what worked for you and what didn't. The "for you" part is really important. This is YOUR weight loss journey and you have to do what works for you AND fits into YOUR lifestyle. Stage 4 is a Re-Visit to the other 3 until you get to stage 5...Lifestyle Change!Oh YEAH! That's what we're working for, right? So there you have it. In the stages of weight loss you are not alone and you are not different. We just all handle them differently according to our lifestyles. Wherever you are start from there and get moving FORWARD. And through it all TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF and treat yourself well! Carve out some time for you each day to pull it all together and stay focused.
Remember: Take care of your body. It's the ONLY place you have to live!!!

HI Nana,
I just found your blog and had to comment. I love your "honeymoon" post. I have been on Flex for over a year. Had great success in the beganing and lost 40 pounds...but I have not lost anything in 6 months...just lose a few and gain a few!
Last week I decided to give "Core" a try and I have to say I am SOOOOO LOVING it!! I am finding the freedom from counting to really improve my Cat-itude!!! LOL. I think your witty and hope you keep blogging.
Have a blessed day!!!

Nana,
I have been blogging for over a year or more. There is a blog site I found a LONG time ago where this girl Roni had and I was totally amazed at her transformation after losing 70 lbs. Her site is www.weightwatchen.com and she had a community of blogs.... so I started my blog there. I was chugging along and about 4-5 months into it her site crashed. We lost everything. All of the friends I made there lost there blogs too so we all started again on blogger.com
Roni has since redid her site and now have a HUGE blooger community site again but we decided to stay put and love blogger better.
We all still read Roni's site and comment and vice versa.
I went to my "Profile page" and in the section that said "interest" I clicked on the words " weight watchers" and it brought up a list of everyone who is on blogger and put "weight watchers" in there interest. So couple nights ago I was checking out a few to see if I could find some new blogs to read, especially ones of people and core and I found yours!! :)
I hope you have as much fun blogging as I do. I find my online friends to be my biggest cheerleaders when I do well and on the other hand will give me the swiftest kick in the rear when I need it!! I love those girls and we have periods where we " fall off the wagon" but we always come back with our tail between our legs and someone always says "about time...we have been waiting and they give them a hand and pull them back on board"... see why I love those girls?
Anyways I love reading your blog and we both love cats so I think we will be fast friends. Ever look for new blogs to read...then check out some of the women who I have there links on my page!! They are quiet the crowd!! HAHA...well sorry so long...us women from the south can talk!!
Hugs and hope your weekend was FAB!!
